Circuit Upgrade
On April, 1st 2012 we completed the upgrade of the coal preparation circuit and thus made possible processing of a wider size range of fine coals. The following production units were put into operation:
1. Classifying cyclones (USA)
2. Spirals (RSA)
3. Spirals Refuse Screen (USA)
4. Spirals Clean Coal Sieve Bend (USA)
5. Spirals Clean Coal Decanter Centrifuge (USA)
and other equipment.
The total cost of new equipment is 1.99 million US dollars.
Circuit Modernization has increased the clean coal yield by 11.1%.
