Kemerovo region is one of the leading regions in the country in terms of industrial development, which to a significant extent is defined by its massive coal and iron ore resources, sufficient number of power generating facilities and manufacturing enterprises. Regional economy develops due to the dynamics of the “Big Industrial Four” – coal mining, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy and chemical industry.

In the issue No.33 dated 20-26.08.2012 the Expert-Siberia regional business magazine published top-10 rating of the fastest developing and largest companies of Kemerovo region according to the 2010 results. In this rating TopProm ranks number three. Sales growth rate of the company in 2010 equaled to 684%.

It is worth noting that cumulative figures of the largest companies of Kemerovo region at the end of 2010 can be compared to the figures of the leading enterprises of the most economically powerful region – Krasnoyarsk Territory. Also Kuzbass economy outruns the potential of Novosibirsk and Irkutsk regions - the nearest to Kemerovo region by the development level among Siberian regions.
