In February the Shchedrukhinskaya washplant underwent retrofitting.

Before, one screen had to serve for dewatering both clean coal (in its middle part) and rock (in the side gutters). As the second unit was installed – the duties were divided: one screen “specializes” in clean coal and the other deals with rock.

The screen GST-62 fitted under the plant item No.А07.01 was manufactured by Mekhanobr-Tekhnika, Research & Engineering Corporation. This type of screens is normally designated to separate and dewater various bulk materials with a pour density of up to 2.8 t/m³.
