Kuznetsky Alatau for the Children of Prokopyevsk
On June 4th, just before the Environment Protection Day, and with TopProm’s financial support, a tour to the Ecological Center of Kuznetsky Alatau Nature Reserve was arranged for the children from the orphanages of Prokopyevsk city. This tour was an award for active participants and winners of various environmental contests of the program “Taking the path of Kuznetsky Alatau”.
The children were taken by the Reserve staff to the educational excursion in the Museum of Nature and got acquainted with the inhabitants of the EcoCenter zoo. Kids were overwhelmed with emotions – so many impressions within one day! Among other entertainments of the day there was a tea-party, games with cartoon characters, horse riding, planting pine trees and souvenirs. Young ecologists have promised to visit this place often. And the Nature Reserve staff will be waiting for these and other kids and will continue to arrange such events which add up some warmth to our hearts.
