Fire drill at Koksovaya
On June 22, the Koksovaya washplant conducted an all-region fire drill.
The event gathered fire unit leaders from different cities of our region, specialists from mine rescue brigades, and eight fire departments.
Such large-scale drills are conducted at the washplant on annual basis and allow to ensure the coherence of the personnel’s actions during emergency situations, and also to establish interaction of firefighters with the mine rescue brigades, servicing the washplant.
According to Roman Rusakov, the chief engineer of Koksovaya, such drills are conducted in order to be ready for the elimination of accidents that may occur on the territory of the plant. Apart from mine rescue brigades and fire departments, the drill involved employees of the washplant.
The actions of firefighters and mine rescuers were assessed by the chiefs of the fire brigades of the Kemerovo region, noting the professionalism and coherence of the actions of all participants of the event.
