The Yubileynaya Mine
An ambitious project intended to secure TopProm’s own raw material base.
The mine commenced operation in 1966 as a hydraulic mine named Baydayevskaya-Severnaya No.1 and joined TopProm on the 14th of February 2013. These days we’re implementing a project on the mine upgrade, scheduling for early 2016 the first output of fat coal, highly-demanded in the market. Fat clean coal is a valuable raw material, internationally classified as Hard Coking Coal.
Ultimate reserves of fat coal: 80 million tons
Design capacity: 1.350 MTPA
The commissioning of the mine will become the final step to creating our own mining-and-washing complex, comprised of the Yubileynaya Mine and the Shchedrukhinskaya Plant.
