TopProm is a long standing partner of the Chess Federation. For its support, the company has received an official "thank-you note" from Yuri Skvortsov, Deputy Chairman of the Kuzbass Parliament.

In 2023, under the sponsorship of coal companies, our region hosted a number of major chess events: the Kuzbass rapid chess championship, the All-Russian competition among men and women "Top League", dedicated to the 405th anniversary of our city, the national rapid chess competition - local stage of “Rapid Grand Prix of Russia”, and the Christmas tournament "Chess Family".

Olga Karbolina, the public relations officer in TopProm, receives a letter of gratitude for the company.

“Over the year, in our region were held as many as 110 contests of different levels, in which more than 7,000 players took part," summarized Maxim Ivakhin, Chairman of the Kuzbass Chess Federation. “Our newly introduced program “Chess in School” is becoming more and more popular, we can see really promising young players. This means the game has a future.”

The recognition from the Parliament encourages TopProm to keep supporting the Chess Federation and thus boost the chess popularity in the region.
